What we collect
If you accept analytics in our consent banner, Google Analytics records anonymized data about your visit: which pages you view, how long you stay, what device and country you come from. Your IP address is truncated before reaching Google. We do not collect your name, email, or any other personally identifying information unless you submit it through a form (contact, checkout, etc.).
Why we collect it
To understand what content resonates with our community, what events draw interest, and where the site is broken. Analytics data informs editorial and design decisions — it is never sold or shared with advertisers.
What we do with form data
When you contact us through the form, your name + email + message are forwarded to a private Slack channel monitored by the BCC team. When you buy swag, your name + address + payment info pass through Stripe (payment) and Printful (fulfillment). We retain order records to comply with tax and fulfillment requirements.
Your choices
- Decline analytics in the banner — Google Analytics never loads and no events are recorded.
- Clear your browser's site data to reset your consent choice.
- Email the BCC team to request deletion of any submitted form data.
